I met Chris Capell, World Champion BBQ Pit Master and Owner of Dizzy Pig BBQ Company, when DuClaw collaborated with Dizzy Pig on a BBQ flavored Pale Ale called “Q” (Which I named!).
Chris and Lan (his amazing wife) invited me to their house in Virginia for a weekend and we shot five BBQ Spice Rub promos disguised/that double as how-to recipe videos. I’ll always remember that weekend for some of the most delicious food I have EVER eaten, and some of the best conversations I have ever had.
This is my favorite video because it’s also my favorite recipe of the five – one that I have cooked at home on our Big Green Egg – Ragin’ River Maple Sriracha Glazed Salmon.
